What is Insect Catch Planner?
Insect Catch Planner is a route decision tool that uses the same insect list as the wiki. It ranks targets by your current level, selected time-of-day, weather, optional insect family, and strategy—so you can spend less time tab-hunting and more time catching.
Instead of manually checking every row, you get three shortlists: what fits this window, what unlocks at the next level, and what pays best on rainbow weather.
How it works
- Select your player level so spawns match what you can actually catch.
- Pick time and weather to match active spawn windows.
- Optionally filter by insect type (e.g. beetles only) for quests or collection goals.
- Choose a strategy: stable 1★ value, high 5★ upside, or leveling-friendly scoring.
- Use Current window, Next level, and Rainbow lists—then open wiki entries for map locations.
Tip: stay on one island or biome per window when possible to reduce travel time between catches.
