Unlocking the Fishing Hobby
Unlock Requirement
To unlock Fishing, you must reach Heritage Association Level 2.
Upon reaching that milestone, you will receive a Hobby Expansion Voucher as part of progression rewards.
Giving this voucher to Vanya, the town’s professional angler NPC, activates the Fishing hobby permanently in your hobby menu.
Starting Gear
When you unlock Fishing, Vanya gives you your first fishing rod. You equip your rod through the Toolbox interface. Additional gear can be purchased or crafted later.
Unlike combat weapons, fishing rods have durability, which can be repaired with Repair Kits.
